In-Person Retreats with Don Oakley

Don Oakey leads weekend in-person retreats, on a monthly basis, with his wife Patty Bottari, at Well Being Retreat Center in Tazewell, Tennessee.

Well Being Retreat Center is located an hour's drive from Knoxville, where the nearest airport is located.

These retreats are non-denominational experiential investigations into our True Nature.

Retreat Structure

Don Oakley Retreat at Well Being Retreat Center

The weekends generally begin late Friday afternoon and end with lunch on Sunday.  Don gives an introductory talk on nondual spiritual exploration on Friday evening. Then, Saturday morning, Don will lead a guided meditation and will present a discourse on some aspect of spiritual awakening. Several silent meditations will be scheduled throughout the day to support one's own spiritual inquiry. In the afternoon, there will be an extended period for Q&A to explore questions. Sunday morning will be a time for any remaining questions about spiritual awakening.

Meals

Each of the cabins has kitchenette for you to prepare your other meals.

Lodging

For those who would prefer to room alone, there is an option to stay in one of the cabinettes and use the bathroom and kitchen facilities in the main conference building, a short walk away.

Exploring the Land

There will be plenty of free time to enjoy Well Being's 160-acres of land during the retreat.

Reviews from Previous Retreat Participants

"I just completed my first 3-day silent retreat and I will tell you that this was such an amazing experience for me. The property, food, staff were all top-notch! Most of all, Don's direct pointing and presence were something I have not experienced before. I have studied/practiced the non-dual/direct path for a few years and now and to be able to share this experience....WOW!! Thank you both for all you do and who you are!

Much love, Nikki"

"Amazing weekend retreat with Don and Patti. Thank you for sharing your wisdom, beauty of the land, healthy food and wonderful accommodations."

Julia

"I recently attended a two-day weekend retreat with Don and Patti. I immediately fell in love with the land and felt welcomed and charmed by their kind and open hearts. The land at Wellbeing is a serene escape from "regular" life - it is quiet, beautiful and full of wildlife. The hosts and the staff make you feel like part of the family. The message Don shared was optimistic and inspiring. I highly recommend booking a weekend retreat for yourself!"
